· Will you remain open? Yes, we will remain open as long as we can. We have made changes to our schedule to limit exposure and the number of patients in our office. All well visits will be conducted during the morning between the hours of 9:00am- 2:00pm The patients that require an in-office visit that are sick will take place from 2:00 pm and on.
· Should I still bring in my baby for shots? Yes, the American Academy of Pediatrics advise that infants and young children be seen for their well visits and immunizations.
· If my child is sick should I bring him to the office? You can call our office and we will triage your call. If it is something that one of our providers can assess with you over video we will try our best to avoid an in-office visit. Certain appointments will require an in-office visit and we will be happy to schedule you.
· What are you doing to clean the office? We are ensuring that all areas within our clinic are being cleaned regularly with cleaning products that have been approved by the EPA to be effective against coronavirus.
During this time, we will also have you call us from your car to check in and verify your information. If an exam room is available, we will escort you to a room right away, otherwise, we will have you wait in your car.Visitor Policy- As a precautionary measure to keep our patients and staff safe, APC is working to limit the number of people in our office. We ask that only one parent accompany their child to appointment, and to please leave their other children at home with anther adult whenever possible.
